Caterpillar Maths

This week in Great 8 we have been ordering numbers up to 10 from smallest to largest. We are super at order them when they are all mixed up like this:

5   8   4   1   10   9   3   7   6   2

but we found it a bit trick when some of them were missing and we had to order them when they looked like this:

2    9    4    6

One way we practiced getting better at this maths skill was playing these games as a class as a warm up for maths.

We are FAMILY

We welcome the start of our new learners to St James School and the start of our third Junior class. With only six to start we have so much to do to become more familiar with our learning space and about who we are! This week the children of Great 8 will be venturing around the school finding out what is special about our school and the important people in our school that will help us. We welcome Antonia Sarah das Byron Still Corban Sullivan-Jones Riley Shortall Kayden Mills Latai Siu We met up with some teachers and children from across the school. They were all very eager to take time to have a photo with us and share what they do to help us.
