In class we created our own class mural showing how God created the world in seven days. We think our creation is just as beautiful as the one in this you tube clip! What do you think Mums and Dads.

Holy Spirit
This term we are learning about the Holy Spirit, Te Wairua Tapu. What does the holy spirit look like? We had to choose a picture that made us think of the holy spirit. Here is what we chose.
I think the holy spirit is like god and Jesus.
God in our hearts.
I like cars and the holy spirit.
The holy spirit is like a burning heart
They are talking about the Holy Spirit.
It is like a heart. I wanted a heart picture.

Our First Gathering - The Good Sheperd John 10:1-18
This week we had our first junior team gathering.
We learnt about "The Good Shepherd and His Sheep"
Kayden helped Mrs Te Amo explain the story by pretending to be the good shepherd
Here are some of the things we talked about...
What does a Good Shepard do for his sheep?
-Feed them
-Called them by their names, this showed that he loved them
-He protected them from danger
-He opened the gate for the sheep
-He looked after them.
-He loved them all.
Who is the Good Shepard?
Who are the sheep?
Great 8 created some sheep for our wall, one for each of us - Bryon, Corban, Latai, Antonia, Kayden, Riley, Mrs Te Amo, Miss Veena (who is looking after us this week) & a baby lamb because we like baby lambs.
